Russia's crude oil output will be at least stable in 2009 compared to the previous year, the country's oil minister said Sunday, contrasting earlier statements that it would fall.
"I think that in 2009 oil output will be at the level of 2008 as a minimum," Sergei Shmatko said on the sidelines of a press conference, according to a press spokeswoman.
