The Iranian government is to issue EUR1 billion worth of bonds to help fund the development of the South Pars gas field, the world's largest, Oil Minister Gholam-Hossein Nozari said Tuesday, Press TV reports on its Web site.
The minister didn't say when the bonds would be offered.
"These bonds will speed up the implementation of energy projects in both upstream and downstream sectors," said Gholam-Hossein.
