The state
owned Bulgargaz has offered to the State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission
(DKEVR) 33,14% lower natural gas price from July 1. Bulgargaz had to present an
offer to DKEVR until June 10, Darik Radio reported. If the proposal is accepted,
the naturals in Bulgaria will cost BGN 365 per 1000 cubic meter, which is
BGN 180,94 less than the current price. The Bulgarian gas supplier's initial
offer was a 29,92% decrease. It was announced in early May. The company
explained its decision to decrease the prices even more with the fall of
alternative fuels' prices and the fall of BGN-USD
rates.
