Russian gas giant OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) is considering halving its investment for 2009, Interfax news agency reports Tuesday, citing documents from the country's Energy Ministry.
"In 2009, Gazprom is considering the option of reducing financing of investments in the main funds by 20% to 50%," the country's Deputy Energy Minister said in speech posted on the ministry's Web site.
