Russian Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin said Friday he wasn't involved in talks on switching to non-dollar oil payments, RIA Novosti reports.
"Such negotiations are not being held," Kudrin said.
Earlier in the week, the U.K.'s Independent newspaper reported Gulf producers were in talks with France, Russia, China and Japan to replace the dollar in oil trading with a basket of currencies.
