The Turkish government has dismissed the head of state-owned pipeline and gas company BOTAS, Huseyin Saltuk Duzyol, the government's official gazette said Wednesday, the Ihlas News Agency, or IHA, reports.

The official gazette didn't give a reason for the dismissal.

BOTAS is a partner in the Nabucco project. The other partners are Germany's RWE AG (RWE,XE), Austrian firm OMV AG (OMV.VI), MOL Nyrt (MOL.BU) of Hungary, Transgaz of Romania and Bulgargaz of Bulgaria.
