Russian gas company OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) Tuesday said natural gas output in the winter of 2009-10 will be 289.2 billion cubic meters compared with 261.6 billion cubic meters a year earlier, a rise of 11%.

Gazprom's board Tuesday discussed the company's preparations for peak gas demand in the winter, it said in a statement.
