London-listed Kazakh oil and gas producer KazMunaiGas Exploration Production (RDGZ.KZ) said Wednesday it has completed the acquisition of a 33% stake in PetroKazakhstan Inc. from its parent company KazMunaiGas.
PetroKazakhstan produced 6.4 million metric tons or 136,000 barrels per day of oil last year, the Kazakh oil company said in a statement. The second shareholder of PetroKazakhstan is China National Petroleum Corp. which owns 67% of the company.
