There is no further risk of disruption to Russian oil supplies to Europe after a row between Russia and Ukraine was resolved, the European Union said Tuesday.

resolved, the European Union said Tuesday.
"Today, the Russian government has informed the Commission that an
agreement with
Ukraine
on
the transit conditions has been found and that no interruption of supplies was
foreseen," the commission said in a statement.
Russia
had
warned the EU of a possible supply disruption due to a dispute between Russian
and Ukrainian oil transport companies about the transit conditions for oil
carried through
Ukraine
.
Russian supplies of natural gas arriving via
Ukraine
were
disrupted for two weeks last January, leaving some eastern European countries
without heating for homes or power for running factories.
