Greece
will invite a Eurostat official to serve on the government’s statistics agency,
Greek Finance Minister George Papaconstantinou said.
“We have offered to Eurostat to
have a member of their board or from another statistical agency from another EU
country on the board of the new Hellenic statistical authority,”
Papaconstantinou said in an interview with Bloomberg News in
Brussels
today.
