be open," the Kommersant-Ukraine daily cited him as saying in an
interview.
Ukraine

main source, are too expensive. The government is trying to diversify its
supplies, and already has an agreement with RWE AG (RWE.XE) to import gas from
Europe

for months tried without success to renegotiate its contract with
Russia

President Viktor Yanukovych met Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in

Monday, but no breakthrough was announced.
