Iraq has earned some $7.272 billion from oil sales in July, compared with $6.799 billion the previous month due to increase in oil prices, the Iraqi oil ministry said in a statement Tuesday.

exported in July an average of 2.322 million barrels a day, some 1.2% less than
in the previous month, said the statement emailed to Dow Jones Newswires.
Despite the monthly decline in
Iraq
's
crude oil sales, revenue from those sales in July was higher as global oil
prices had increased.
Iraq
sold
its crude in July at an average price of $101.00 a barrel, compared with around
$97.41 a barrel in June, the statement said.
