OAO Lukoil Holdings (LKOH.RS),

second crude oil producer, said Friday that its second-quarter net profit more
than doubled compared with the corresponding period last year, when it was hit
by a large income tax expense.
MAIN FACTS:
-Lukoil
second-quarter net profit was up 106.7% at $2.10 billion, compared with $1.02
billion in the corresponding period last year.
-Revenue grew 8.2% to $35.1 billion from $32.4 billion.
-Earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortization increased
25.9% to $4.36 billion from $3.46 last year.
-Hydrocarbon production increased 2.3% on the year to 2.19 million barrels of
oil equivalent a day.
