Russian state-controlled gas firm OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) is considering increasing its investment program for 2013, the head of the company's investment and construction department, Yaroslav Golko, said Tuesday.

increasing its investment program for 2013, the head of the company's
investment and construction department, Yaroslav Golko, said Tuesday.
The company's board will consider increasing spending at a meeting on Sept. 10,
Mr. Golko said on a conference call. Gazprom has forecast $40 billion in
capital spending this year, against $44 billion last year.
Investors closely watch Gazprom's investment program and have criticized it for
high spending.
