Russian energy giant OAO Rosneft (ROSN.RS) has signed a 12-year deal to supply gas to Italian energy firm Enel SpA's (ENEL.MI) OGK-5 power producer, the two companies said Wednesday.

statements said. They gave no details on volumes or price for the gas.
Rosneft on Tuesday agreed to buy Enel's stake in Russian gas producer
SeverEnergia for $1.8 billion. Russia's largest crude oil producer is ramping
up its gas production as it tries to become a top player in that sector in
Russia, which is dominated by state gas firm OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS).
