Romania's minister-delegate for energy Constantin Nita Tuesday said Chinese investors have pledged total financing worth 5 billion euros (6.76 billion) for local energy projects, news agency Mediafax reports.

China-Central and Eastern European summit in
Bucharest

Romania
and
China
on
Monday signed a series of co-operation agreements in the energy, infrastructure
and agriculture sectors, but no values were announced.
The list of Chinese companies interested in
Romania
's
energy projects includes China General Nuclear Power Corp., China Huadian
Corporation, China National Electric Engineering and Mingyang Wind Power Group.
The two countries also agreed to co-operate in the nuclear power sector and to
resume beef and pork exports.
