The Romanian energy regulator, ANRE, has awarded Lukoil Energy & Gas Romania a
permit to build a solar park in the country, Bucharest-based media
reported.
The solar park will be built at the Petrotel-Lukoil refinery
near Ploiesti, in southern Romania, news agency Mediafax reported earlier this
week.
The capacity of the plant was not disclosed, but in October last
year Lukoil said it planned to build solar parks with a combined installed
capacity of up to 12 megawatts (MW) at the Petrotel-Lukoil refinery, Mediafax
added.
Lukoil Energy & Gas Romania is part of Russian oil group
Lukoil.
