French state-owned power utility Electricte de France SA (EDF.FR), or EDF, said its nuclear energy output in 2013 was slightly lower than in the previous year as its power plants were closed for more days for maintenance.

EDF produced 403.7 TeraWatthours in 2013 down from 404.9 TWh in the previous
year, the company said on its website. Taking into account 2012 was a leap year
and had one day more than 2013, the output was almost stable.
The company had targeted an output of between 410 TWh and 415 TWh in 2013.
