The board of state-owned Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH) has appointed Georgi Zlatev as the executive director of the Mini Maritsa Iztok coal mines, the Bulgarian national radio reported.
Zlatev will replace Stanimir Kazlachev who took up the post in June.
Prior to his latest appointment, Zlatev served as head of privately-owned coal-fired power plant Brikel.
BEH incorporates state-owned assets in the power, gas, telecommunications and coal-mining sectors.
