TANAP
Dogalgaz Iletisim, the project owner of the Trans
Anatolian Natural Gaz Pipeline (TANAP), said that
18 companies have pre-qualified in the tender for
steel pipes supply for the main pipelines of the
TANAP project which will carry Azeri gas to Europe
via Turkey.
The companies approved in the pre-qualification
tender, launched on July 19, 2013, are: Baosteel
Europe GmbH, Corinth Pipeworks S.A., Daewoo
International Corporation, Emek Boru Makina San.
ve Tic. A.Ş., Essar Steel India Ltd., Man
Industries India Ltd., Marubeni Itochu Tubulars
Europe PLC, Metal One Corporation, Metinvest
International S.A., Ratnamani Metals & Tubes
Ltd. (sadece 48″ Ana Hat Çelik Boruları için),
Salzgitter Mannesmann International GmbH, STS
Tubular Group S.A. (sadece 48″ Ana Hat Çelik
Boruları için), Sumitomo Corporation, Tosçelik
Profil ve Sac Endüstri A.Ş., Trade House TMK CJSC,
Ümran Çelik Boru San. A.Ş., Welspun Trading
Limited and a consortium of local firms Borusan
Mannesmann Boru San. ve Tic. A.Ş., Noksel Çelik
Boru San. A.Ş. and Erciyas Çelik Boru San. A.Ş.
The TANAP pipeline, which will be some 1,800 km
long, is planned to be completed in 2018. It is
expected to have an initial capacity of 16 billion
cubic metres (bcm) per year in 2020 and to reach
an annual capacity of up to 23 bcm by 2023 and 31
bcm by 2026.
TANAP Dogalgaz is 80%-owned by Azerbaijan’s
state-owned oil and gas firm SOCAR. Turkish
state-owned companies Botas and TPAO share the
remaining 20% stake in the company.
