Bulgaria to Become Industrial Gas Hub, Economy Minister Says

Bulgaria is about to become an industrial gas hub to export gas to Turkey and Romania, economy and energy Minister Dragomir Stoynev said, as quoted by the Bulgarian News Agency, BTA.
Bulgaria is about to become an industrial gas hub to export gas to Turkey and Romania, economy and energy Minister Dragomir Stoynev said, as quoted by the Bulgarian News Agency, BTA.

Speaking at a ceremony for the award of a Class A investor certificate to SOL Bulgaria for a 13 million euro ($17.7 million) air separation facility in Devnya, in northeast Bulgaria, Stoynev said he hopes that more foreign investors will come to Bulgaria and that the country will see the launch of more large-scale projects.

The plant in Devnya is part of a larger project estimated at 16 million euro which also includes a carbon dioxide sequestration unit and a production unit for industrial and medical gases.
