Adriatic Pipeline AG (TAP) has awarded a contract for the Engineering,
Procurement and Construction (EPC) of the Pipeline Receiving Terminal (PRT) and
a contract for the EPC of the onshore pipeline in Italy (8-kilometre, 36-inch
diameter).
- The
joint venture comprised of
Enereco S.p.a. and
Max
Streicher S.p.a. has been awarded the contract for the
onshore pipeline in Italy, which will connect the project offshore section
at the landfall with the PRT.

Renco S.p.a.
has been awarded the contract for the Pipeline Receiving Terminal, which
is the final element connecting TAP to the Snam Rete Gas network. In addition
to receiving natural gas, the PRT will also host the Supervisory Control
Centre (SCC).

S.p.A., an Italian company founded in 1979, provides a wide variety of services
including engineering and construction for energy, oil & gas and civil
infrastructures sectors.
Enereco is
an engineering company, established in 1988. The technological skills of the
company’s multidisciplinary teams cover the design of plants and
infrastructures for production and transportation in the energy field. Max
Streicher S.p.a. is the Italian subsidiary of Streicher Group. The team has a
well-established position in the pipeline and plant construction sector in
Italy, including work on major oil and gas projects with Snam Rete Gas and
ENI’s Group.
This year
TAP has awarded several contracts: construction and rehabilitation of
access
roads and bridges in Albania (April 2015), large diameter
ball
valves and actuators (July 2015),
turbo
compressors (September 2015),
fittings,
isolating joints and scraper traps (October 2015),
270km
onshore line pipe and bends (October 2015) as well as
495km of
onshore line pipes (November 2015).
