Kuwait may gradually export less spot naphtha, with downstream
petrochemical plant coming online; new domestic aromatics plant - also
known as KARO - may feed on more Kuwaiti full-range naphtha and raise
output as downstream unit Kuwait Styrene Co., or TKSC, recently started
operating its new ethylbenzene styrene monomer plant after delay due to
technical issue;
TKSC will likely feed on benzene from KARO's aromatics
plant. KPC previously sold at least 200,000 tons full range-naphtha on
spot basis for August loading with KARO not entering full capacity yet.
