Signaling the possibility of a breakthrough regarding Greece at Monday's Eurogroup meeting, JeroenDijsselbloomreversed his position about preparing a new "bridging" agreement with Greece and announced that a new agreement will be prepared over the weekend at the technical advisor level to be discussed on Monday by the Finance Ministers.

This reversal came during today's European Summit shortly after it started late because of Angela Merkelsand Francois Hollande'slate arrival from Kiev.

According to sources close to the European Summit, it was Angela Merkel's insistence for a viable compromise that led to Dijsselbloemchanging his absolutely negative positionas it was expressed at the end of the Eurozone meeting on 11 February.
