LONDON (Dow Jones)-- A legal challenge to the imminent government decision in favor of a new generation of nuclear power stations is inevitable, the Financial Times reports Thursday, citing U.K. Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform John Hutton.
According to the report Hutton says a threatened application for judicial review "was always going to happen" but rejected claims the decision to go ahead with nuclear power had already been taken and the second government consultation was a sham.
