Poland's second-largest oil refiner and retailer, Grupa Lotos SA (LTS.WA) may seek a foreign partner to finance upstream oil projects, Chief Executive Pawel Olechnowicz said Wednesday.
Olechnowicz told TVN CNBC Biznes TV channel that Lotos could consider finding "a foreign" partner that would help finance oil exploration projects.
He added that Lotos is aiming to get a license from the Norwegian government with a view to produce oil on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
Last year, Lotos established a fully-owned Norwegian subsidiary and hired a former executive of Statoil to head the business.
