Kazakhstan plans to produce 69 million to 70 million metric tons, or 1.4 million barrels a day, of oil and gas condensate in 2008, up from 67.5 million tons in 2007, the Kazakh energy and mineral resources minister said Thursday.

Sauat Mynbayev said that oil and gas-rich Kazakhstan would also raise oil refining by 500,000 tons to 12.5 million tons, according to a government report.
