Russian gas monopoly OAO Gazprom's (GAZP.RS) capital expenditure in 2009-2010 will reach $65 billion while its investments will drop significantly, the newspaper Vedomosti reported Monday.
It cited Gazprom's memorandum prepared ahead of its $2 billion Eurobond issue as saying that it estimates cost of the Nord Stream pipeline project at EUR7.4 billion. Gazprom declined to comment, the paper said.
The memo also stated that ArcelorMittal (MT) is considering joining Gazprom's 800 megawatts power plant construction project in Germany.
