ISTANBUL (Dow Jones)--Turkish fuel and oil products retailer Petrol Ofisi AS (PTOFS.IS), or POAS, plans to open eight gas stations in Georgia this year, Chief Executive Melih Turker said Wednesday, the Ihlas News Agency, or IHA, reported.
In a press conference, Turker said POAS aims to open 30 gas stations within three years in Gerogia.
Austrian oil and gas company OMV AG (OMV.VI) owns a 36% stake in POAS, and Turkish conglomerate Dogan Holding (DYHOL.IS) owns a 57% holding.
At 1324 GMT, POAS shares were trading at TRY5.65, unchanged from Tuesday's close, and amid a 1.88% higher overall market.
