Russian state gas monopoly OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) has registered a daughter company to sell gas in Ukraine, business daily Vedomosti reported Wednesday citing Ukrainian gas industry sources.
Gazprom's Ukrainian unit, Gazprom Sbit Ukraina, is likely Thursday to win a license to sell 7.7 billion cubic meters of gas a year, the source told the paper, adding the license was one of the key conditions the Russia's recent gas deal with Ukraine.
