More then 80 speakers from 20 countries and 7 International Organizations are expected to participate in this year’s SE Europe Energy Dialogue alongside with hundreds of delegates from Greece and aboard. This year’s Dialogue international meeting is convened by the Institute of Energy for South East Europe (IENE) following the success of the 1st Energy Dialogue which was organized in Thessaloniki in June 2007.

The 2nd SE Europe Energy Dialogue is to be held again in Thessaloniki on May 21-22, 2008 at the Makedonia Palace Hotel.

The purpose of this international meeting is to bring together high-ranking government officials, senior business executives and energy experts from the countries of S.E. The “Energy Dialogue” has been conceived as a forum for furthering the idea of a S.E. European energy bridge, involving all the countries of the region.

This year’s conference is organised in partnership with the World Energy Council (WEC) and under the auspices of the Ministry of Development of Greece. The Minister himself, Mr. Christos Folias has kindly accepted IENE’s invitation to speak at the official conference dinner. The South East Europe Energy Dialogue is sponsored by several leading Greek and international energy companies.
