A state labor inspectorate in Moscow has opened administrative charges against Robert Dudley, the chief executive of the U.K.-Russian oil joint venture OAO TNK-BP (TNBP.RS), the Interfax news agency said Thursday citing an official.
A sudden inspection exposed a number of substantial violations of labor regulations, including an incorrect registration of recruitment contracts, inappropriate salary payment time and so on," the official said.
No one at TNK-BP was immediately available for comment.
TNK-BP, is owned on a 50-50 basis by U.K. oil major BP PLC (BP) and a group of Russian billionaires.
