A minority shareholder of Russian oil producer OAO Surgutneftegaz (SNGS.RS), Alexei Navalnyi, has filed a lawsuit against the company asking it to disclose details of the deal with oil trader Gunvor, the newspaper Vedomosti reported Tuesday, citing the court's documents.
In April, Navalnyi questioned the amount of Surgutneftegaz dividend - which he deemed too low - speculating that oil major's profits end up on trader's balance sheets.
Last year, Gunvor had revenues of $43 billion.
Surgutneftegaz declined to comment, the paper said.
Navalnyi has already filed similar lawsuits against oil companies OAO Rosneft (ROSN.RS) and OAO Gazprom Neft (SIBN.RS).
