Turkey and Iran signed a memorandum of understanding late Monday on the development of three phases of Iran's South Pars gas field and to transfer gas to Europe, Turkish Energy Minister Hilmi Guler said, the Ihlas News Agency, or IHA, reported Tuesday.
"We believe that this memorandum of understanding will have positive effects regionally and internationally," Guler, who is currently in Tehran, said at the signing ceremony late Monday.
