Turkey has rejected a request from Greece to provide additional gas, a senior official from the state-owned gas company BOTAS said Tuesday, the Ihlas News Agency, or IHA, reported.

Turkey exports approximately 250,000 cubic meters of gas a day to Greece.

Turkish Energy Minister Hilmi Guler said earlier Tuesday that Turkey hasn't changed the amount of gas it exports to Greece after a halt in Russian gas deliveries to Turkey from a pipeline that passes through Ukraine.
