Serbian Gas Deliveries From Russia Down 50% Tuesday

Russian gas deliveries to Serbia were lowered by 50% Tuesday, Serbian public broadcaster RTS TV satellite service reported Tuesday.

Russian gas deliveries to Serbia were lowered by 50% Tuesday, Serbian public broadcaster RTS TV satellite service reported Tuesday.

The broadcaster quoted Dusan Bajatovic, head of public gas company Serbijagas, as saying there is the possibility deliveries from Russia could be completely halted.

Deliveries of Russian gas to Croatia were halted early Tuesday, national gas operator PLINACRO told AFP.

Russia halted its gas supplies to Ukraine last week after the two countries failed to agree on payment terms. Supplies of Russian gas to Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia and Turkey were also halted overnight, AFP reported
