Russia produced 242.594 million metric tons of oil and gas condensate in the first six months of 2009, or 9.77 million barrels a day - down 0.1% from the same period last year, the Interfax news agency reported Thursday, citing Ministry of Industry and Energy statistics.
Natural gas production plummeted 20.8% in the period to 274.275 billion cubic meters, the agency said.
