Russian gas producer OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) has revised its 2009 investment program to total 775 billion rubles ($23.4 billion), the Interfax news agency reports Monday, citing Russia's Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
In December, Gazprom's board approved a RUB920 billion investment program, including RUB700 billion in capital spending.
Putin also said production of natural gas had fallen by 20.8% in the first six months of the year compared to the same period in 2008.
