Turkey's Energy Minister Taner Yildiz said Thursday that Turkey and Azerbaijan will sign a deal on buying and transportation of Azeri gas through Turkey next week, the Ihlas News Agency, or IHA, reported.
Azerbaijan has been considered as one of the main gas suppliers of the European Union-backed Nabucco Pipeline, which aims to transport gas from the Caspian Sea and Middle East through Turkey and the Balkan States to Western Europe.
Turkey won't consider any project with Israel until the relations are normalized, Yildiz told reporters.
Earlier this week Israeli commandos seized an aid flotilla bound for Gaza and killed Turkish citizens.
