Kostyantyn Hryshchenko is quoted as saying he had reached an agreement with U.S.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to intensify efforts to secure
U.S.
experience and investment in
Ukraine
's
energy sector, the report says. The two met earlier Friday in
Kiev
,
where
Clinton
kicked off a five-nation tour of
Eastern Europe
and
the
Caucasus
.
Hryshchenko said modernizing the dilapidated gas transportation system and fuel
production were priorities, according to the report.
