The supergiant West Qurna phase 2 oil field in southern Iraq will reach peak production of 92 million metric tons a year in 2017, Leonid Fedun, deputy chief executive at Russian oil producer OAO Lukoil Holdings (LKOH.RS) said Wednesday.

Qurna
phase 2 oil field.
At the peak, Lukoil will be able to consider between 10 million and 11 million
tons its own production, Fedun said.
Lukoil holds a 56.25% interest in the West Qurna Phase 2 project, Statoil
18.75% and
Iraq
's
North Oil Co. 25%.
