The Greek Ministry of Energy and Climate
Change reached today a decision about the share of each Renewable Energy Source
in the country’s energy mix for 2020.
According to the decision, hydro gets 4650MW
(3650 by 2014), wind gets 7500MW (4.000), photovoltaics get 2200MW (1500),
solar-thermal gets 250MW (120), geothermal gets 120MW (20) and biomass gets 350MW
(200).
Fast-track projects are not included in
those numbers. The ministry has specified that it may reexamine those shares in
2012.
