Enel SpA's (ENEL.MI) Endesa SA (ELE.MC) unit and
Japan's Mitsubishi Corp. (6503.TO) have signed a memorandum of
understanding to cooperate on electric cars, Endesa said in a release
Tuesday.
The agreement is aimed at introducing Mitsubishi's
i-MiEV electric vehicle in Spain and building infrastructure to
provide power to electric cars in the country.
The two
companies aim to widen their cooperation to other countries in the
European Union and Latin America.
