Russian natural gas monopoly OAO
Gazprom (GAZP.RS) and Ukrainian national energy company Naftogaz have signed a
memorandum of understanding to jointly produce methane from coal in Ukraine,
the Russian company said Tuesday.
The companies will begin a feasibility study for the future 50-50 joint venture
and will look into possible sources of financing.
