BP PLC (BP) restarted production at
its offshore Chirag platform in Azerbaijan Monday, a spokesman for the company
told Dow Jones Newswires in an emailed statement Tuesday.
Production at the platform, which was suspended Dec. 11, is back to its full
capacity of around 90,000 barrels a day, the statement said.
Crude from Chirag isn't currently being exported through the Baku-Supsa
pipeline and is being held at Sanagachal terminal export facilities, the
company added.
