Russia
increased iron output in 2010 by 9.3% on the year to 48.2 million metric tons,
the federal statistics service said Tuesday.
Steel roll output in 2010 totaled 57.8 million tons, an increase of 10.1%
compared with 2009. Steel pipe output increased by 35.8% on the year to 9.1
million tons.
Russia
's
coal output in 2010 rose 5.4% on the year to 317 million tons, the service
said. Iron ore concentrate output totaled 95.5 million tons, up 10.8% on the
year. Metallurgical
coke output in 2010 grew 9.9% to 27 million tons.
