Ecuador
's
average crude oil output January through November 2010 fell 1% to 485,000
barrels a day from 488,000 barrels a day in the same period of the previous
year, the central bank reported.
State-run company Petroecuador averaged 297,000 barrels a day in the
January-November period, while private companies' oil output was 188,000
barrels a day.
The country's total oil production in the first eleven months of 2010 was 161.9
million barrels.
Oil is
Ecuador
's
main export and the government's main revenue earner.
