nuclear industry is looking to export its know-how and technology to tap into
fast growth in emerging markets, said Marvin Fertel, chief executive of the
Nuclear Energy Institute, at the industry group's annual financial briefing in
Manhattan

will be urging the government to promote this under a "Team
USA
"
type of banner, he said.
Projects to build reactors overseas represent a $400B
market. There are 156 reactors planned or under development.
China
is
constructing 27 with plans for another 50.
Russia
is
building 11 and is planning on another 14. India, which has five being built, could add another
18.
