Enel SpA (ENEL.MI) Wednesday said its board had approved an advanced dividend payment on the Italian utility giant's 2011 results equivalent to EUR0.10 per share.
Enel SpA (ENEL.MI) Wednesday said its board had approved an advanced
dividend payment on the Italian utility giant's 2011 results equivalent to
EUR0.10 per share.
The payment will be made on Nov. 24, it said in a statement.
The board's approval came after a review of Enel's first-half results, it said,
adding that it was based on how the year was expected to shape up for the
utility.
The dividend on Enel's 2010 results was EUR0.28 per share, up from EUR0.25 the
previous year.
Enel has one of the most generous dividend policies in the European utility
sector.
