Electricite de France (EDF.FR) Thursday completed the acquisition of Edison SpA (EDN.MI), as it purchased shares from investment vehicle Delmi for EUR784 million.

Edison SpA (EDN.MI), as it purchased shares from investment vehicle Delmi for
EUR784 million.
After the transaction, EDF's stake in
Edison
rose
to slightly more than 80% from approximately 50%, the French energy company
said in a press release.
Delmi is controlled by Italian utility A2A SpA (A2A.MI).
